Rachel Reading

Rachel read "Three Little Pigs, a Wolf and Some Soup" to the class. She wrote, illustrated and published the book over the summer. She was awarded a GRAND CHAMPION ribbon for her achievement from the fair. Great book, Rachel!

Field Trip to Wahpeton

On Thursday, September 15th, we had our first field trip. We attended conservation day at Chahinkapa Park in Wahpeton, presented by the Wilkin Soil and Water Conservation District. There were presentations by six agencies, which include:

• Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
  


• Minnesota DNR-Conservation Officer



• Natural Resource Conservation Service-Soils



• Chahinkapa Zoo



• DNR-Forestry



• Lake Region Electric Cooperative.
  

An animal trainer shows us a corn snake that we were allowed to pet.

We built a tree out of ourselves....

Back to School!

We had an amazing first day of school! I am lucky to have such a great class!
